Since then, the Duchess of Sussex had to change drastically in accordance to the royal norms. Some might believe that the Royal life is everything one can dream of, however, it can prove to be challenging at times.

The Royals have always had people coming up with absurd theories about them, here are some theories directed towards the Duchess of Sussex

  • Meghan’s pregnancy was a hoax
The Royal couple announced their pregnancy on 15 October 2018 while on a tour in Australia. However, many people believed that Meghan wasn’t actually pregnant. They said that the baby bump was fake, and it was a publicity stunt. The absurd arguments were backed up by pictures from different angles, claiming that Markle’s bump changed shape. People on twitter claimed that the baby bump is prosthetic, being too “square” or “jiggly” or that it “moved too much” when she walked. Some people also believed that baby Archie was born via surrogate, but the news wasn’t revealed to the public.

  • Baby Archie revealed to the public was fake
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was presented to the public wrapped up in a cozy white blanket, on 8th May 2019, two days after birth. Many people believe that the baby wasn’t actually Archie, but a fake silicon doll like the ones made by the Angel Doll Company. Some people also believe that he was a couple weeks old when revealed to the public and wasn’t actually born on 6 May.

  • Meghan is a very demanding boss
Since the addition of Meghan in the royal family, 4 employees, who have been in close vicinity of the Duchess, have quit their jobs. This has led to speculations that Meghan be a challenging boss. The rumors of her “difficult” and “demanding” nature started spreading when her personal assistant, Melissa Touabti, quit her job after only 6 months. Samantha Cohen, Meghan and Harry’s private secretary has reportedly quit after working with the Royals for 17 years as well. Similarly, Meghan’s bodyguard and Archie’s nanny have also jumped ships.
  • Meghan was sent back because of her shoes
The queen is reported to dislike wedged shoes and hence has advised against wearing them in public. On an engagement in Fiji 2018, Meghan was seen wearing beautiful, black Castaner espadrille wedges under a gorgeous pink dress. The meet and greet, which was to be 15 minutes long, was cut short to only 6 minutes and Meghan had to return. According to rumors, the Queen personally asked for Meghan’s return as she broke the Royal shoe protocol.

  • Meghan is being used as a political pawn
When Meghan and Harry went public with their engagement, a man tweeted “Price Harry’s kids will be Americans. What if one grows up to be president and is in line for the throne at the same time? Brits are playing long-ball here, but it’s a smart move. They want America back and this is how they’ll do it”. This ruled their marriage as a way to get control over America and surprisingly, many people seemed to support this.

  • Kate and Meghan don’t go so well together
Since the wedding, many rumors have circulated about a feud between the sister-in-laws, however, there is reportedly no truth to them. People also claim that the relation between the two have left a rift between Prince William and Prince Harry as well.
  • Meghan is a robot
Along with other ridiculous theories, one of them is that Meghan is a cyborg. In June 2018, a video went viral which showed Meghan moving her head stiffly and without blinking, truly making her look like a robot. However, the video was debunked.

There are many other such theories about the Royal Family, however, most of them seem to be false and a result of people living in their own imagination. However, can there be some truth to them? We might never know!
