On Jada Pinkett Smith’s Infamous Red Table Talk, she called in her daughter and mother for a candid discussion on Polyamory. The episode’s guests for the discussion were an open and honest throuple (two women and a man) who were present to discuss the concept of polyamory as well as their own experiences.

Headlines read a while back about Willow Smith potentially being open to the idea of a throuple or at least coming forward with her bisexuality. Jada Pinkett Smith openly discussed this with Jimmy Kimmel, telling him about a throuple that Willow had started following on Instagram and was very curious about. Jimmy wondered whether Willow was open to the idea of being in one herself, to which her mother responded:

She’s 18—who the heck knows what’s going to go down, you know?”

On this Red Table Talk episode, the host, Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter delved into the topic of open relationships alongside her mother and grandmother. At one point in the episode she completely turned down the idea of being involved in a quadruple, saying:

Personally, male and female—that’s all I need”

Deliving deeper into the topic of an open throuple relationship, Willow Smith was asked about how she would feel in an open relationship, potentially one that is polyamorous and the 18 year old girl, well aware of what she wants and does not want, said the following:

I love men and women equally and so I would definitely want one man, one woman. I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people. I’m not the kind of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences. I focus a lot on the emotional connection and I feel like if I were to find two people of the different genders that I really connected with and we had a romantic and sexual connection, I don’t feel like I would feel the need to try to go find more.”

The guests on this show were the same throuple that Willow was following on Instagram.
