Channing Tatum is one hot hunk and it makes complete sense that some woman wanted to get close to him. Breaking into his home, however, may not have been the best way to do so. It seems that a woman allegedly broke into Channing Tatum’s residence and the star has filed a restraining order against her. There go her chances!

The details of the break in go that the woman not only broke into his home but stayed there for 10 days. This means that said woman, named Chantal, who has no connection or link to Channing Tatum whatsoever, not only trespassed onto his property but stayed there until her arrest on the 24th of June. Due to this, Channing Tatum has sought out protection for himself, his daughter, Everly Tatum, and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

How did this woman get spotted exactly? The story goes that Channing Tatum’s ex-wife, Jenna Dewan’s, personal assistant was passing by his home to pick up some mail. The home was empty as there was some construction being done on the property. Jenna’s assistant called the police and when they came in to arrest the woman, she claimed that she was allowed to live there in exchange for cleaning the place.

This isn’t the first time this woman has broken into the Magic Mike star’s home. A while back, she also broke in just to see the star, left, and then came back to leave a letter by his residence. She did this only to see the celebrity in person out of sheer fandom allegedly. On this, Channing Tatum said:

The conduct of Respondent is very alarming to me, and also very annoying. To know that a complete stranger, who last year came to my home uninvited and unannounced, recently broke into my home and pretended to be staying there causes me significant concern for the safety of my family and myself, as well as emotional distress.”
