20-year-old Disney star, Cameron Boyce, died on 6th July 2019 due to an ongoing medical condition. The family shared the devastating news and have asked for some privacy regarding the matter.
Cameron Boyce was an American actor, majorly known for his roles in Grown ups, Grown ups 2, Jessie and Descendants. The actor caught his big break by his role as Luke in Disney’s comedy series, Jessie, which aired for 4 seasons.
The rising star entered the acting industry when he was only 9 years old and from there his journey was upwards. He was deeply involved in charity work and was recently honored with the ‘’Pioneering Spirit Award” at Thirst Gala, sponsored by the Thirst Project. Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization for which Cameron raised $30,000 to build clean water wells in Swaziland.
Boyce made his big screen debut in the film Mirrors and was later casted as one of Adam Sandler’s children in the movie “Grown Ups”. He further went to receive stardom in the Disney world by playing the role of Luke Ross, in “Jessie”. The comedy series aired for 4 seasons and 98 episodes. He was now filming a new HBO show, “Mrs. Fletcher”, to be premiered in Fall 2019. However, fate had something else planned for him.
The 20-year-old star passed away during his sleep due to a seizure on July 6th 2019. The heartbroken family released a statement, saying, “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
