Mathew Perry recently listed his penthouse for sale for a staggering amount of $35 million.
The “Friends” actor bought the lavish residence unit 2 years ago for $20 million. Located on the 42nd story of the Century building in Century city, the penthouse covers an entire floor and overlooks LA’s beautiful skyline.
Also known as the “Mansion in the Sky”, the 9300 square foot residence features four bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The master suite even has a fireplace, a seating area and a large walk in closet.
The penthouse also has an expansive living room with floor-to-ceiling remote controlled windows, a plush screening room, centered kitchen and four terraces with panoramic views from all directions. As per the listing, it incorporates “a stunning palette of textures and colors that are both contemporary and classic”. Designed by architect Scott Joyce and interior designer LM Pagano, the place is definitely to die for and it comes with three parking spaces as well!
The apartment complex, built in 2009, has 140 units and provides several amenities including a private wine storage and swimming pool with cabanas. The building also offers 24-hour concierge and security services, gym and four acres of private gardens.
The famous “Chandler Bing” is selling this massive penthouse as he now spends more time on the East coast and in Malibu. This isn’t the first time Perry took his estate to the market. In 2015, he sold an ocean-view architectural known as Pier house for $10.65 million. In 2018, he made a $12.5 million off the sale of an ultra-contemporary home in the Bird Streets neighborhood above the Sunset Strip. The actor also owns a beachfront home along one of Malibu’s most exclusive streets that he bought in 2011 for $12 million.
Mathew Perry gained worldwide recognition for his role as Chandler Bing in the famous sitcom, “Friends”. After that it was all uphill for him, co-starring in the reboot of “The Odd Couple” and seen on the small screen as Ted Kennedy in the 2017 miniseries “The Kennedys After Camelot”.
