Miley’s wedding was the highlight of 2018 but the couple has called splits and parted ways. In a statement released to PEOPLE, the two announced they broke up and might be getting divorced soon.

Hemsworth and Cyrus tied the knot in a secret ceremony in December 2018. The couple later announced the news by posting wedding photos on their Instagrams. The two however, had been dating for over a decade by then.


The lovebirds met on the set of The Last Song and started a romance. Despite many ups and downs in the relationship and even breaking up for some time, the two were destined to be together and finally said their ‘’I do’s” in a private ceremony in 2018.

Miley and Liam were “couple goals” for a long time, especially during the 8 months of their marriage, however, the two have called it quits. In a statement released to PEOPLE by their representative, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s while they both focus on themselves and their careers. They still remain dedicated partners to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy”.

The two were posting adorable videos of goofing around and annoying each other until a few months ago and now the news of their breakup has taken the internet, breaking hearts of millions of fans. Tweets about their split flooded the internet as the fans mourned the loss of a loving couple.


Miley’s currently vacationing in Italy with a newly-single friend, Kaitlynn Carter. As she posed in front of beautiful mountains, Cyrus posted pictures on her twitter, saying, “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I’m standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change in inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed”. She was also not wearing her 3.5 carat, cushion cut diamond ring.
