The Good Place star, Kristen Bell, recently took her daughter to the emergency room due to a hairline fracture that ‘’smushed” her finger.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard share two daughters, 4 years old, Delta, and 6 years old, Lincoln. The stars, who got married in 2013, are not only couple goals but parent goals as well. The family of 4 is always goofing around, teasing each other and enjoying family vacations.
However, the actors keep it real, sharing their problems as parents every now in then. A few days ago, Bell shared a photo of her sink – covered in hair and fossilized teeth. She wrote, “FACT. It is only appropriate to find hair and fossilized teeth in your sink if: A. you are a serial killer or B. you are a parent”. She also cleared that the teeth weren’t real and were in fact from pumpkin patch.

FACT. It is only appropriate to find hair and fossilized teeth in your sink if: A. you are a serial killer or B. you are a parent. (Edit: for those confused by the teeth, they came from the pumpkin patch where you can "mine" in the water and sand for either fossils or gem stones. Mom buys the bag, attendant dumps it in, and blam, your kid has found treasure. Both my kids chose fossils, so I have, like, ALOT of those teeth at my house.)
Recently, one of the actors’ daughters was rushed to the hospital due to an injury. She was taken to the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles for a hairline fracture on her finger. Bell shared, “her finger was smushed so hard in the door it popped like a jelly donut.” Looks like her inner comedian can never stop making jokes!
The 39-year-old mom posted a picture on her Instagram as she embraced her daughter on a hospital bed. Although, she didn’t post the picture of the wound – it was “gross”, you can still see the blood covered finger of the little one. The adorable duo pouted as they waited to be discharged.

First emergency room visit. One hairline fracture and a finger smushed so hard in the door it popped like a jelly donut. Thank you so much to @childrensla for the amazing care, thank u Dr. Olsen, and Sonia our child life specialist. Did you know that when you enter the emergency room at @childrensla you immediately get a "Child Life Specialist" trained to make sure your child knows what happening? And to make sure you understand all of what's happening and your choices? It made us feel so safe. And @childrensla follows up the next day with a phone call to make sure all is well after the trauma. Excellent care all around. Thank you to all who helped my baby. (Ps I'm not attaching a pic of the finger because there was literally burger popping out all over and it as pretty gross.)
Bell also complimented the hospital on their remarkable service and a very helpful staff, that made the event less painful and difficult. She wrote, “Excellent care all around. Thank you for helping my baby.”
Get well soon!
In other news, “The Good Place” season 4 is right around the corner with the first episode to air on 26th September. Bell shared a video of her fellow cast-members, Chidi – William Jackson, Janet – D’Arcy Carden and Jason – Manny Jacinto, dancing, as she shared the air date of the comedy series with her 11 million followers.
