Taylor Swift recently released her seventh album called “Lover” and it seems to be a love letter to her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

The relationship between Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn has majorly been kept a secret but since Taylor’s songs usually are based on her relationships, it’s safe to assume this album is about her longtime boyfriend.

“This album is really a love letter to love, in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting, enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory”, the singer told the Vogue in her cover story in September.

The album seems to give a great deal of insight into her relationship – how they met, what they did etc. Many fans have also been speculating if the two secretly got married or are planning to exchange their vows very soon. In the song “Paper Rings”, she says, “I like shiny things but I’d marry you with paper rings. That’s right, darlin’, you’re the one I want”.

If the album is really about the British actor, here’s what we know of their ultra-private life:

They live together : In the song, “Lover“, Taylor sings “This is our place, we make the call”, clearly indicating the two lovebirds share a home.

They have been together for 3 years: In the same song, she says, “I’ve loved you three summers now honey, but I want ’em all”, confirming  the relationship has been going on longer than previously thought – the reports came after May 2017.

Taylor stalked Alwyn: Like every other person in this generation,  the 29-year-old Grammy winner stalked her potential partner before they started dating, evident by the lyrics, “Went home and tried to stalk you on the internet/Now I’ve read all the books beside your bed.” Cute!

She thought Alwyn wasn’t the one: The song “Cornelia Street” describes the start of their romance, where Taylor sings “I thought you were leading me on/I packed my bags, left Cornelia Street before you even knew I was gone”. However, the 28-year-old actor called and they made up, “sat on the roof, you and I”.

They met in New York for the first time: The couple met while Taylor was renting an apartment on Cornelia street in New York City. The singer dedicated a whole song to the street, telling the story of their initial romance. According to the lyrics, the two met in a bar in NYC.
