Kim Kardashian got in trouble with her husband, Kanye West, for letting North wear lipstick.
The beauty mogul occasionally posts pictures of her eldest daughter wearing makeup, but Kanye has put a stop to that – disallowing North from wearing any beauty products.
During the KKW x WINNIE makeup collaboration dinner, the 38-year-old mom revealed that the 42-year-old rapper doesn’t let their eldest daughter use any makeover products, which comes as a surprise, given that majority of North’s family is in the makeup industry!
The KKW CEO said, “She loves makeup, but her dad won’t let her wear it. I think he had it, he changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip. Kylie would give her all of these lip kits, so I kind of got in trouble for that. So, it’s now no more makeup”.
Kim has posted several pictures of the 6-year-old on her social media, including some where she is wearing makeup. In the annual Christmas Eve Party, she was seen wearing a bright red lip color, paired with an all-black outfit. Similarly, for their regular Sunday service in March, the little one went for a purple lip tint. She was also seen playing with a KKW Beauty x Mario Eyeshadow Palette in one of the super mom’s story.

Even though, North isn’t allowed to wear any beauty products, she is still allowed to weigh in on her mom’s choices, according to the Keeping up with the Kardashian’s star.
Kim has been criticized several times for letting North go too far with her fashion choices. Recently, she faced backlash for making her daughter wear large hoop earrings. The model posted a picture on Instagram, where the 6-year-old was making a pinky promise with her mom, wearing a gold swimsuit and large hoops. An Instagram user commented, “Kim ur letting ur daughter wear hoops that big what the helll . . . she has grown up to [sic] fast”.
